Hyatt Regency Incheon Holds Tenth Anniversary Reception

INCHEON (SEPTEMBER 24, 2013) – Hyatt Regency Incheon holds its tenth anniversary reception on 24 September to celebrate ten years of authentic hospitality and the expansion of the hotel. On this occasion, “West Tower”, the hotel’s new building is also being unveiled.

Under the slogan “Ten years of authentic hospitality and a future twice as exciting”, the celebration reception shows the hotel’s authentic hospitality achievements and history, as well as introducing the brand new tower.

Having started construction in March 2012, West Tower is now coming to the end of exterior construction and is set to open in July next year. With 500 guestrooms in the new building, the hotel will have total of 1,023 rooms and will be the largest Hyatt hotel outside of North America.

With the hotel extension, Hyatt Regency Incheon will actively be marketing activities to target domestic and international business travellers, MICE, honeymooners and leisure guests. In particular, the hotel will focus on attracting meeting, convention and exhibition business as a hub of airline traffic from all around the world.

West Tower Introduction

The concept of West Tower is understated luxury with a unique and naturally friendly design, along with innovative communications technology. The new tower plans to receive LEED certificate, an internationally recognized green building award.

The Grand Ballroom, accommodating over 1,000 people (1,350 sq m capacity), enables smart meetings and high-end multimedia events. This impressive ballroom will be the most extraordinary event venue in the Incheon area and makes possible exhibitions, banquets and meetings with its state-of-the art technology.

The outside garden, connected to the East Tower (the current building) by a bridge, can host outside events for more than 300 people. The hotel’s outdoor space will grow to 3,445 sq m, including the outdoor kid’s pool. In this scenic flower garden, cocktail parties, weddings and other events are available.

On the first floor, a restaurant and a bar will be added. The Café will present authentic cuisine to local and foreign guests in a stylish wine-and-dine atmosphere, while The Lobby Bar will offer entertainment space to guests.
