Park Hyatt Seoul's “MASTERS OF FOOD & WINE” event

On Friday, September 27, Park Hyatt Seoul will proudly host the "Masters of Food & Wine", an exclusive event that brings together exquisite fine dining and the world’s finest wines at Cornerstone. Under the theme “Nuevo Latino”, the event will feature welcome drinks and an exquisite Latin American dinner with matching cocktails, all complemented by an exciting live tango performance by professional dancers. 

Upon arrival, guests will be offered a welcome cocktail and Park Hyatt Seoul’s executive chef, Massimiliano Ziano, and Cornerstone chef, Federico Heinzmann, from Argentina will present an exquisite six-course dinner. Cooked in Latin style with multicultural influences, the menu includes Argentinean grilled food, Peruvian ceviche prepared with fresh fish, lemons, limes and spicy peppers, Peruvian tiradito made with raw fish (similar to sashimi and carpaccio) in a spicy sauce, and Costa Rican gallo pinto made with rice, beans and more. Each course will be paired with various Latin cocktails created with a base of either cachaca, Brazilian sugar cane hard liquor, or Peruvian pisco, a grape brandy, or Latin American wines to maximize the delicate flavors of the dishes.

Between 7:00pm and 8:30pm during the dinner, a sensual and passionate live tango dance performance will be presented to highlight the event. This classic Latin tango originated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and embraces the joys and sorrows of the European immigrants in the 19th century. Professional dancers will express love, passion, romance and sorrow through a splendid and rhythmic tango. The event is priced at KRW 140,000 per person, including tax. No service charge applies.

For participants wanting to experience a personal stay in a Park Hyatt Seoul guestroom, a 10% discount will be offered on the Awaken Package, which includes a one-night stay and breakfast for two at Cornerstone.
